EFFICIENT TRAFFIC MONITORING CAMERA FOR ANPR/LPR
FreewayCAMis a versatile industrial IP camera specifically designed for automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) in any traffic speed. The camera consistently captures high quality images in a variety of environments and light conditions. The camera's unique optical module with auto-adjustable shutter time and real-time motion detection-based self-triggering also ensures appropriate image capturing at virtually any speed – even up to 255 km/h (158 mph).
The camera can be enhanced with a variety of add-on components for specific functions or circumstances. Synchronized light sources are recommended at sites where extra brightness is necessary. A second 3 megapixel optic can also be added to the camera to perform license plate reading and provide overview images. Added built-in or external radars can deliver more precise triggering than software-based motion sensing, which is a less resource-intensive solution at high-speed roads and traffic congestion. The GPS and 3G module helps the camera determine its position and forward its stored data.

FreewayCAM camera’s built-in auto-setup function helps the easy integration and configuration into any system while its embedded server offers remote access from over the web. The device’s automatic brightness control is specifically designed for vehicle plate recognition and aided by its IR (or optional white) LED illumination that is synchronized with image capturing and control.
