New in 2018 – Automatic Incident Detection by ARH
2018 has seen important technological innovations in ARH’s License Plate Recognition and Automatic Incident Detection technology. Thanks to ARH’s R&D intellect, a tech-savvy, keen product development team and ARH’s legendary quick response time to market trends and opportunities, we have a showcase of new products to share with you at the upcoming Intertraffic Mexico event.
Your LPR cameras of choice – FreewayCAM – a new generation of Dual Lens models
ARH’s purpose-built workhorse LPR camera series, FreewayCAM, now in its third generation, boasts brand new Dual Lens cameras. The new models offer you the benefit of a secondary lens employing the technology called Advanced Vision, which succeeds where default LPR imaging fails. Advanced Vision gives you shadow-fee and glare-free images – it even delivers LPR-ready images even when other LPR-cameras are blinded by sunlight directly shining into the lens. All this eventually gives you great recognition accuracy. FreewayCAM retains its practical architecture – allowing the easy addition of a radar and auxiliary illumination modules.
We believe in what we create and stand behind our products with confidence. This is why the 3rd-generation FreewayCAM series is also covered by our extended 3-year full manufacturer’s warranty.
Your Automatic-Incident-Detection camera – EnforceCAM saves manpower – improves traffic safety
Human attention is a limited and expensive resource. This is why ARH has launched the new EnforceCAM: the idea behind is to redefine workload sharing between man and machine. Using advanced software-based video detectors, EnforceCAM spots offensive driver behavior. The camera is easily integrated into complex traffic monitoring systems.
Your professional vehicle-mounted LPR – MicroCAM’s sleek design, with new tech inside
With all the components in your patrol vehicle, ARH’s redesigned MicroCAM performs on-the-move license plate recognition – in the same quality as a fixed high-end LPR camera. MicroCAM can be easily mounted on the rooftop of a patrol car or placed behind the front or rear window. Thanks to a single POE+ connector, installation is quick and straightforward. The IP67 rated robust and stable metal body offers protection comparable to fixed cameras. The wide-angle lens and the long-range lens model are a perfect match for your preferred use. MicroCAM has been designed to run the world’s No.1 plate recognition engine: Carmen® ANPR.
Your customizable LPR engine – CARMEN® – now with quarterly software update
ARH’s flagship LPR software is brand named CARMEN® ANPR – your ideal choice to read all vehicle license plate types in the world at any traffic speed. Toll collection and congestion charging systems, traffic monitoring and security, speed and journey time measurement, bus lane and traffic light enforcement, parking or access control and many other systems can benefit from the fast, exact, automatic identification and recognition capabilities of this ANPR/LPR engine.
CARMEN® ANPR reads license plates from many image sources remarkably fast and with the highest recognition accuracy in its class. It offers country-independent recognition of not only of Latin characters, but also Arabic, Cyrillic, Chinese, Korean, Thai and many more, as well as reflective, non-reflective, personalized and special interest plates that are typical in many US states.
Thanks to ARH’s dedicated team of LPR software development, CARMEN® has been engineered to become even faster – redefining industry benchmarks. Quarterly updates with the latest plate types and software improvements mean peace of mind for all ARH partners.
Your fixed and flexible ITS solution – the TrafficSpot series – new members
The new members in ARH’s TrafficSpot series include TrafficSpot Light and TrafficSpot Pro. Whether placed on a pole, a bridge or a gantry, TrafficSpot collects valuable road traffic data – in the city or on the open road. It is an innovative yet field tested complex automatic solution that helps traffic authorities (or highway management organizations) to monitor traffic, optimize traffic control, collect road toll and generally streamline transportation.
Functioning as a multilane site control system, TrafficSpot automatically monitors free flowing or stop-and-go traffic with multiple sensors, automatically recognizes number plates, measures vehicle dimensions, counts the axles and calculates vehicle category. TrafficSpot even has a weigh-in-motion (WIM) option. TrafficSpot has the benefit of being platform-independent – ideally integrated to any local or national infrastructure of traffic management or toll collection system.
We’ll be pleased to see you at Intertraffic Mexico. In the meantime, discover ARH’s current range of dedicated LPR cameras and speed cameras – or browse our complete catalog online.
